About Us
This is a new beginning. Boys & Girls Clubs of the Charlotte Region is bringing a fresh vision for youth development to East Charlotte and Mint Hill—turning afterschool hours into opportunity hours. What began as a commitment to our local neighborhoods is growing into a bold, community movement spanning East Charlotte, Mint Hill, and our surrounding communities.
Every day, we open doors for young people to feel safe, supported, and inspired. In our Clubs, kids discover caring mentors, healthy meals, academic support, and programs that build character, leadership, and resilience. From reading and robotics to athletics and workforce training, we prepare youth to be Future Ready—ready for school, for life, and for leadership.
Our mission is rooted in belonging and fueled by belief: that greatness lives in every young person, waiting for the right opportunity to emerge. Together—with families, schools, and community partners—we are building a Charlotte where potential is not limited by circumstance, and where every child has the chance to rise.
